Registration for the 14th Annual Reston Sprint Triathlon which is Sunday, May 31, 2020  IS CLOSED

Race is being postponed until August 2nd.

In addition to the feedback from our athletes, we considered input from our timing company, Reston Association, our volunteers, sponsors and the Fairfax County Police.

Our priorities regarding decisions concerning the Reston Sprint Triathlon remained unchanged:

  • Keep our athletes, volunteers, sponsors and staff safe
  • Provide a great experience for our athletes
  • Maintain our ability to continue to provide this event to our community in the years to come
  • Comply with government directives and regulations
Although we are excited we are able to reschedule, the one thing we can count on at this time is that nothing is certain. We will continue to closely monitor COVID-19 and provide additional updates on the viruses impact on our event. In the meantime, please keep practicing social distancing, stay safe, exercise and stay tuned for updates regarding logistics for the event.

Best regards,
Doug Bushee
