This year meetups for both the in-person Reston Sprint Tri and the virtual RST will be held on Zoom. The series kicked off on Monday, March 1st and will continue until August. We encourage all triathletes to attend the monthly meetups for race updates as well as tips and tricks to training.
Registered 2021 RST athletes (for either in-person or virtual events) are welcome to join the monthly meetups. Space is limited to the first 100 attendees. Zoom invitation and meetup details can be found in your RST update emails or by reaching out to firstname.lastname@example.org.

Training for the Tri: Craig Hoffman, Explosive Performance Coach and Elite Personal Trainer, at OneLife Fitness in Reston, shared strategies for working out safely at the gym during the pandemic along with specific training tips for biking and running. Bike Training, Endurance & Maintenance: A must-see for all RST event participants. Anne Mader, owner of The Bike Lane presented great bike safety and training tips for the Reston Sprint Tri. Dennis Arndt, RST athlete, discussed the RST bike segment from an athlete’s perspective. Dave Conover, USAT Official of the Year for 2020 presented USA Triathlon Competitive Rules.
